2021 Water-Wise Landscape Tour
With over half of the water used at home going to irrigation, water-wise landscapes are a key way residents can reduce their water use. A landscape should meet the resident’s needs as well as incorporate the environmental conditions in the area. By replacing a green lawn with a water-wise landscape, you can have a beautiful yard that also uses less water.
Residents throughout Woodland have found creative and unique alternatives to lawns that require less water and are pollinator friendly. Visit each landscape below to view their work and plant list.
